2010 Ford Focus se Won't Start

Asked by Jose Oct 16, 2018 at 11:25 AM about the 2010 Ford Focus SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I searched everywhere online and found nothing so
I think I'm the first idiot to do this but I was
pressing the button to open the trunk more than 30
times while the car was off and now when I try to
start the car it clicks like 5 or more times a second
so very rapidly and afterwards the dash shutters
the sticks for fuel, RPM, MPH, and H/C are
twitching for the next 2 to 3 seconds. So I was
wondering if anyone could help me and knows
what I should do? My hope is that it is a low battery
but everything electrical in the car shines brightly
and turns on. The car also hasn't had any other
problem that could lead to it being anything else.
And it all started when I was pressing the trunks
button many times before that it turned on and
worked normally.

make sure the batt terminals are tight , if it doesn't start get a batt. charger , if there's a high tech one for gel batts get it , how old is the batt. ? there should be a label to tell on it , if you can pull the caps off and see that the electrolyte is solid then it's time for a new one
