Vibrating in steering wheel during accelaration over 50mph

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I got an oil change and tire rotation yesterday. Today I noticed on the highway that my
car's steering wheel is shaking when I accelerate to 50mph or so. If I let go of the gas,
it vibrates until it falls back down to 45mph. I noticed that if I go 65-70mph, the vibrating
stops. Could it be the tires weren't balanced or it was done improperly? Or do I have
something bigger to worry about?
Also, my tires are only 6 months old.

a bent wheel or unbalanced wheel/tire that was on the back, but make sure theyre tight.....all the way around

Alright. I just made appointment to bring it back to the people that messed it up. Hopefully it is nothing more serious.
Make sure they re-check the balance of all the front wheels. If it happened after the wheel exchange, it more than likely will be in the repositioned wheel. Have the front bearings checked if it continues.
check your steering wheel gearbox.. Does your steering wheel have a lot play? if no your are ok, it is just unbalaced tires..
