Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2010 Ford fusion starting acting up again ....
Please help!! Half of my electrical went out, can't
shift gears, no radio display, power windows or
locking. Last time this happened about 7 months
ago, the ASE certified mechanic I took it to simple
cleared several codes that had appeared on my
bcm and everything went back to normal
immediately after. What the f*** is happening
here?? Lol, is it okay to just clear the codes again
or is this my bcm officially failing? No day to day
issues besides when this happens all at once. Any
advice greatly appreciated!!!

Last thing - I do have a newer battery, no corrosion
on connectors either & it's putting out enough
power. Just checked that too. THANK YOU!

This is extremely common on all Ford Fusions from 2010 to 2019. I really wish you all would contact the National Highway Traffic Control Administration about this and file a complaint so this issue will be a recall as it really needs to be. this IS a safety issue and Ford has been getting away with this for ten years! how is this not a recall? everyone I know with a Fusion has very similar if not the same issues. my car has similar issues... PLEASE file a complaint with NHTSA! it takes less than 10 minutes. you can call or go to their website. 888-327-4236 or WWW-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/vehiclecomplaint/

I have a 2015 Fusion that loss electrical power to the following: AC, Psgr Windows (F&B), Psgr Mirror and External temp Display. After ford did a system diagnostic check, it showed possible water intrusion/corrosion on the following connectors: C146, C1651, C1812, C168C, C1717 and C134. Eventually they found water in connector C134 (located by the lamp behind the front bumper, driver side). They blew the water with air and applied electric grease. This fixed my problem. paid $150. Hope this helps

I got a 2010 Ford Fusion my radio works perfect starts perfect but my battery light is on. And my power steering will click on time from time and I will have to pull over and turn my car off then turn it on. And my ac is also blowing out hot but cool. I fixed everything that has to do with the ac.
