The procedure for changing an alternator is pretty generic so any manual will work if you need a reference. 1 disconnect the negative terminal on the battery 2 remove the serpentine belt from the alternator pulley by way of releasing pressure on the belt at the belt tensioner with a belt tensioner tool (loaner tool programs at O'Reilly Auto Parts, Advance or autozone) or long breaker bar and adapter or socket. 3 remove all wires connected to the alternator 4 remove bolts and maybe nuts securing alternator. Installation is the reverse and add go for a drive and watch your alternator/voltage gauge. Hope this helps As for a manual for a rondo/carens I have been looking for the last 3 1/2 years to no avail. They want you to take it back to the dealership! I Refuse.

the easiest way in found is to disconnect the cooler fans and lift them out of the way. 2bolts on the fans 1on the hose, 2 each on the upper radiator supports. next take the serpentine belt off using a 17mm. using a 10mm release the a/c line on the left of the alternator to allow room for removal of the upper bolt. use a 14mm to release both hold down bolts for the alternator and fully remove the upper. the lower just needs to be loosened. use a 12mm to release the rear cable on the alternator and unclip the other plug. with a little wiggling the alternator can come up near hood latch. be careful not to damage radiator fins. reverse procedure for install.
