Spray some starter fluid in the intake as you try and start the car and if it starts then you should be looking at the fuel pump. Note: as soon as you stop spraying the fluid the car will die.

My 98 Ranger will barely crank the it eventually stops. The battery is fully charged. It acts like the starter is going bad but I don’t think that’s the problem. Is it possible it has a vapor lock? I haven’t pulled the plugs yet. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks
