Why do my load resistors not work?

Question type: Car Customization

I installed LED's in my car (described below) and also installed resistors. For some reason the resistors don't seem to be effective. I still have hyperflashing and when I press my brake my radio lights cut out.

I have LED's in my reverse lights, my rear and front turn signals, my running lights, and my brake/tail lights. I have 6 OHM 25W resistor's on the brake lights, front and rear turn signals, (total of 6). I also have 8 OHM 20W resistors on the running lights in the front. None on the reverse lights.

If I take out the LED's brake/tail lights and use the OEM bulb the radio doesn't mess up. Therefore I have narrowed that problem down to the brakes.

Do I need to get different resistors?

did you actually cut the wires to put in the resistors or just piggyback them? you have to cut the wires and put them in-line.

That may be it. I just piggy packed it with the setup that it showed on the box. I'll attach a picture.
