Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2005 Ford Escape, changed spark plugs,
ran about 10 minutes, started to sputter
like out of gas, won't start now. Fuel pump
not coming on. Power at the relay, the
inertia switch,  and power in at the fuel
pump control module. No power out of
the module to the fuel pump.

My vote is for the control module being toast or perhaps a poor ground or corrosion on the terminals. Have you already tried to clean the contacts?

Cleaned, the contacts....another test I did was to measure voltage at the fuel pump...with the connector unplugged, I get battery voltage out of the two top pins, nothing from the bottom two..key on, the voltage drops...
