drl lights

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just bought the car. I have HID headlights. The right DRL is not working. I
checked the fuse for both the left and right light. Left side getting power to
both prongs, right side getting no power to either fuse prong. I switched the
relays from left to right, still only the left side works so the relay is good.
When i start the car and operate the DRL's, the power to the fuse on the
left side goes off. I didnt want to drop the front end on that car to try to
change the bulb when it seems like there is no juice to it. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Hello. Yes i fixed it. Just so happens that when i decided to drop the front bumper and check out the bulbs, the actual bulb was burnt out. I dont know why it showed no juice to it, but replaced with a new bulb and it worked. ( dropping the front end was no big deal, there is a great you-tube video that explains it perfectly ). Only took a few hours. Good luck.
