Lincoln MKS won't accelerate
I have 2009 Lincoln MKS and while driving the car I was suddenly not able to
accelerate while pressing gas pedal. I pressed on it repeatedly and it did not
go anywhere just kept slowing down to complete stop will rev up, meaning the
RPMs but will not move.

there may be a problem with your transmission, if there are any check engine lights go from there. get the code and then google them to see what they mean.

Twice I experienced this. My concern is safety. I just started my car and about to merge in the road but suddenly my car not able to accelerate in the middle of the road even when I pressed the gas pedal several times then later on it accelerated. It was good no cars passing thru. We’re you able to solve the problem?
I'm having the same problem. Lincoln service department doesn't seem to know what it is and say they can't fix it. I refuse to drive it until they fix it as my biggest concern is the safety of my 7 year old and me. Any help or guidance would be much appreciated. I press on the gas and randomly my 2013 MKX will not accelerate. I have to drift to a stop put the car in park and restart it. It happened on the highway the other day and it was terrifying.

I'm having the exact same issue and I live in a busy city! Its so scary. I just wont pick up speed or it does but very slowly. Once it gets going its fine but if I come to a stop light it takes forever to gain speed again.
