Asked by Raymondt Sep 28, 2013 at 12:19 PM about the 2009 Chevrolet Malibu LS FWD

Question type: General

I always have water in my passenger side floor board in the rear (back seat) just trying to
see where is that coming from. I was told that the heater core makes it do that.

Raymondt, I am sorry to hear you are having this concern. If you would like to have your GM dealership look into this, please let us know. You can email us at socialmedia@gm.com. Erica Tiffany GM Customer Care

if you have water coming in, you might want to take off the wiper cowl and clean all the leaves, pine needles ect out of the water valley. When clean out you might want to check the tub for rust and would advice to seam seal it.
