Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently purchased a 2009 Dodge Journey on
payments with no warrant as is (how stupid‍♀️) the
very same night I turned it off to get some gas
came out to leave car wouldn’t start had full power
though. Kept making a clicking noise only
sometimes left it alone for ten minutes started again
fine did it again the next day so I called the place I
got it from like look something is going on here take
it up there I get stuck in the lot car won’t turn on the
guy comes out to look at it pops the hood tells me
to turn the key while he’s pulling some wire and
bam the damn car immediately starts he says it’s a
bad ground wire they replaced it it’s doing the same
damn thing again my boyfriend got under my hood
and grabbed the same wire last night cuz we were
stuck at Walmart for a hour and bam car turns right
on smh how does this same wire keep going bad or
somebody tell me what is happening here please

Probably just a bad battery connection. Buy a battery terminal cleaning tool for a couple of dollars and clean up the terminals and battery cable ends. Use baking soda and water to clean up any corrosion. Tighten up the battery cables with a wrench and see if that solves your problem.

It’s definitely not the battery battery is fine I have full power when the car is doing thing radio lights all of that it’s this ground wire I don’t understand it’s causing all of this cause when I go to pull on it while someone is turning the ignition the car will start right up google shows I’m not the only person going through this either idk what to do
