How much should I ask for my wrecked 2009 Toyota Camry?

Asked by meekanna Sep 21, 2018 at 09:50 PM about the 2009 Toyota Camry LE

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

I have a 2009 Toyota Camry LE that has
damage to the front driver side. Someone I
know said he could fix it and make it
roadworthy again,. However, money is very
tight. This person did express an interest
in purchasing the vehicle from me. I'm not
quite sure what the value would be, as
Kelley Blue Book only offers an option for
fair condition and not poor condition. The
engine and all of its components are
sound, aside from a cracked battery.
Batteries of course are easy to replace.
The interested party says he can find the
parts and repair the vehicle so that I could
drive it again. Like I said though, money is
tight, and I still owe $800 on the vehicle.
There is a crack in the windshield, but
nothing too extreme. There is some
damage to the driver side door, but it still
functions, other than the power window.
The car is a 2009 Toyota Camry LE, with
approximately a hundred 165000 miles on
it. It has a sun/moon roof, CD/MP3 player,
power windows and door locks, and the
interior is in pretty fair condition. While I
would love to be able to repair it and drive
it, I'm just not financially able to
accommodate the repairs. Looking for any
advice on what a fair selling price may be.
