Where do i connect the power antenna wire on my
radio harness adaptor? Does it need 12 volts
switched power or what?

You need a wiring diagram to know. Look for a diagram on the radio chassis.

I have an aftermarket Kenwood radio in it already. My problem is I can't listen to fm or am radio. I was told I needed to connect the power antenna wire for it to work. But I don't know where to connect it

As I said you need the wiring diagram. Remove the radio and look for a wiring diagram on the body of the radio.

(UPDATE) I finally figured it out. On the Metra 70- 1004 radio harness adapter. After connecting all of the wires to my Kenwood radio, I was left with three unused wires. Illumination (Orange wire), power antenna (blue wire), and amp turn on (blue/white wire). After doing a lot of research and not finding any information on the topic, I decided to conect the power antenna wire to the amp turn on wire just to see what happens. It worked. I can finally listen to the radio. Hope this helps someone who has the same problem
