Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Crank. No start. In limp mode. Can't pull any codes with code reader. 4x4, abs, slip lights on. What's the
deal?

Is it your code reader that won't read or a professional shop that will not read? Asking because your OBD port might have a communication issue due to wiring. Do you have a "no com" with multiple readers?

currently have a 08 doing the same. no fix found but you can rule out the immobilizaer & fuel pump unless you already have one to put in. make sure you check and clean the tank for loose trash. ECM Relays were switched around/ also replaced later. All have been in vain and still crank with no start. Currently the Nissan Dealer is saying "I Donno" and the current Transmission Repair shop is trying their best to pinpoint as I have had no code other than a fuel evap code - which was already repaired. trying for some kind of fuse box for now - currently I'm at 1500.00 not including the 6 tows up this point when it leaves me stranded. Hope this will help the next person.
