Your description is too vague to diagnose. Does the car have any diagnostic trouble codes (DTC)? Is check engine light, ABS, VDC off, slip, or BRAKE illuminated on the RPM side of the gauge cluster? Go to your nearest auto parts store and ask them to hook the scanner up to it and retrieve all the codes, not just the P codes (C, U, B, etc. codes) and write them down or take a picture of the scanner's screen, then google "Murano xxx," xxx being the code. Do this for each code. Some codes will generate others. Do the simplest first. Did it die while driving? Have you had the battery and/or alternator tested? If it died while driving, will it start again with or without a jump? 1: try to jump it. If it starts and eventually dies, alternator is likely the culprit 2: pull the DTCs and research them. If the ABS or VDC/slip lights are not illuminated, diagnosis is likely easy. Replacing the battery can be done in 5 minutes. The alternator requires more effort, but can be done in the garage in an afternoon. Battery will cost anywhere from $90-$250 depending on which one you buy. I recommend nothing lower than 640 CCA (800 CA). An alternator will cost $250+. I do not recommend buying a remanufactured alternator unless you enjoy changing it.
