2008 Honda Civic A/C problem

Asked by Jeremy Sep 25, 2018 at 04:04 AM about the 2008 Honda Civic LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2008 Honda Civic AC is not blowing cold air.  When I first turn on the
vehicle, the clutch is engaging and the compressor cycles on.  Within
seconds, the compressor cycles off and will not turn on again.  I checked the
pressure when the compressor cycled on and it was low.  I added coolant
until the pressure was within normal range.  Still have same issue.
Compressor cycles on when you first turn on the engine, then cycles off
within seconds and won't come back on.  Any suggestions?

Clogged in line high side orifice tube filter. It is located in the high side line ( small line ) line has to be taken apart to get to it.
