Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Everyone decided my fuel pump was
bad because I filled up drove 7 miles
and truck died and never would run
but for few minutes at a time. So
changed fuel pump 3 days ago and
today started all over again. By the
way my tank is hard to fill it keeps
kicking pump off like it's full. Could
that be why truck starts great but runs
or dies after a few minutes. I will
change fuel pump again if anyone
thinks I should. Please help

Check the fuel pressure on it ,this will let you know if it is new pump has gone bad,all so if you did not replace fuel filter may need to do so.

Fuel filter is part of pump inside tank, that's what I changed. I had to pull bed of truck off truck to get to tank

Sounds like ur fuel vent system is restricted and got fuel in ur evap canister. Check evap solenoid to make sure it's not stuck in open position. This will make it do that specially if it happened right after refuelling
