Window will not go up or down ?

I have a 2008 Ford foucs shes, its had
some issues before this just adds on
.I went to roll my windows down to
cool off then to realize it wont roll
back up at all it can go down a little
and up a little .there is a sound
almost like grinding,my passenger
side works just fine and has no
issues .

You likely need a new window motor which also includes the gear to move the window. Electric window motors are a common item to fail and need replacement.

probably window elevador is not working properly, as well get a professional take a look inside the door if a part is loose obstructing the window to roll down and up.
