Personally, I'd see how much it would cost to have
the vehicle shipped home. By the time you sell the
vehicle and buy another one you're not going to
make much if any money. Plus with the vehicle you
have, you know what you have. Another thing to
consider is if the vehicle is not CARB compliant
you're never going to be able to sell it in California.
Has it been smog tested and passed in California? If
not, then I'd definitely bring it home and continue to
use it in Virginia. A vehicle that is not CARB
compliant will never ever pass California Emissions
