Asked by Sterlingman Jun 30, 2013 at 03:50 PM about the 2008 Cadillac DTS Luxury III FWD

Question type: General

When at 70 mph on the Interstate with cruise control on, in the left lane, if the left front
tire wanders left and contacts the grated surface(for safety), and the driver turns the
steering wheel abruptly right to compensate, the car weaves and maintains a difficult to
control "fishtail" action.
What is your opinion???

Probably time for a new set of tires. Inspect tires for wear also have shocks/struts also inspected. Either of these could cause that to happen. Also if car wanders a lot might be time for a front end alignment. Might be good idea to go buy the driver a new pair of drawers cause I'm sure theirs is messed up. Lol

Also might have just over compensated with right turn. Always ease back onto the road.
