Best thing to do is have your dealer salesperson or a representative from the dealership show/explain it to you.  Procedures vary for setting up these phones by both vehicle and manufacturer.  I would suggest a quick trip to the dealer where someone can explain this to you for free using language specific to your phone and vehicle.
