Where does this loose hose under my hood go?

I found a hose with a loose connector under the hood on my 2008 Pontiac
Torrent. The hose seems to be coming from part of the engine, so I am
wondering if it could be the culprit in the oil pressure warning I am getting. Can
you tell what this is and where the end is supposed to go?

If the oil pressure is low and the hose had something to do with it, oil would be spraying all over the place. It may be a vacuum line.
