Car won't go into drive

Asked by GuruJ8QX May 25, 2017 at 11:17 AM about the 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 Pontiac grand Prix that will
drive in reverse and 2&3 but will not go into
drive. Any idea what the mechanical issue
may be?

Transmission Pressure Control Solenoid failure may cause erratic shifting of the automatic transmission in this car and model in specific. You should check this with a mechanic first.
