I have a Pontiac grand prix 08, it started running.g hot I changed the thermostat, it ran hot again it was a hole in my plastic elbow, I fixed that. Now the car is giving me a stalling and a noise.

If it ran too hot for too long you may have done serious damage to the engine. On the other hand the running hot and now cool etc. may have just confused the computer and it may need to run a little to sort itself out. That shouldn't take very long though, so don't push it if you suspect other damage. Is the car operating at the normal temperature now? It is important that the cooling system is filled properly with no air trapped in it. That can be tricky to do on modern cars. It's worth spending a few dollars at a properly equipped shop to get it done right if you're having difficulty. At the same time they can evaluate the stalling and other noises and hopefully correct things before you end up with a failed engine. Good luck. Let us know what you find.
