Coil pack

Thank you for getting back to me. It started
doing it last night. I am taking it first thing in
the morning have an 8am appt. Oh I an a
courier for a med company and have to
work tonight I will put about 50 60 miles on
it. Then wont drive after that until I take it
tmrw. Would that be ok? Maybe. When it
started doing it I have been babing it when I
take off I notice when I put it in neutral at
lights it helps a little.

Annette, always keep using your original post when replying/adding. I am reading your question, that obviously another Guru replied to, but have no idea of the whole problem. Hopefully the Guru that answered you will read your new post and give you is opinion.

Oh ok thank you. I asked if it would be ok to drive my car until the morning when I take it to the shop. It started slipping last night. Dad said it is the coil pack. I was wondering if it would be ok to drive until then. I have an 8am appt with my machanic.

Well, not being able to see the car all we can do is give you our educated opinion. When you say "slipping" are you referring to shifting? A bad coil can make the car hesitate and difficult to start.

Annette, I am thinking like a father, if you can get another car to go to work I think it would be best. You are going to be driving at night, I would not want you to be stuck if the car begins to show other problems, say stop and go. If you really have to use the car, keep your cell phone handy to call for help. Regardless, do take your car to have it checked in the morning.
