Sebring just died while driving

Mines an 08 sebring as well. I have a refurbished computer and its dying when I put it in drive. It does good in any other gear but both the drive gear and the auto stick it dies I dont know what's going on. Have called many shops but none of them can give me an answer. The check engine light is on but it's from the old Sebring.

Engine light came on when it turned hundred thousand, had it checked out a couple different times nothing was wrong shops tried clearing but the lights stayed on, have 210,000 miles now and it's just now starting to give me some trouble but up until now it's been a very reliable great car I really depend on it now I'm retired, I want to fix it I just can't see putting a lot of money into trying to rebuild the car at this point due to age & high mileage.
