Need fuel line diagram for 2007 Chevy Silverado

Asked by Crestrepo3030 Mar 05, 2020 at 08:44 AM about the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado Classic 1500 Work Truck Extended Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 classic with the 4.3
6 cylinder engine. I recently purchased this truck for work. It
had check engine light on with codes of misfire in cylinder
#5. I changed spark plugs and wires on it which kept giving
me misfire code. I bought a new spider injector but when I
take the upper intake manifold off, I realized that there was
the in line for fuel but the return line was cut off and sealed.
So I went from the tank and followed the fuel lines. One
goes from the tank to the manifold and the other from the
tank to the evap purge solenoid on the side of the intake
manifold. So I would really appreciate if anyone has the fuel
line diagram for this type of truck. I need to know where the
return line goes to. Whoever worked on this truck before
did half ass work. I don't even know how it was running
with no return line. Any help with this issue would be
appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hey we are having the same issue with our 2006 spider replacement ... there is only one fuel line running in but there are 2 places on spider. One for in and one for out... What am I supposed to do? There is no out line.

So did anybody figure what fuel injector to get? Or what to do for this problem?

I have a 2008 silverado. Old spider housing had 1 fuel port . New one has 2.. cant find exact replacement spider unit at any parts store so I got a 03 silverado one. I'm wondering if there was ever a technical service bulletins from GM on this but I can't find it. I'm in the same boat guys. My mechanic friend said you could cap it but its 60 psi on there.

Hey guys. I just replaced my spider assembly in my 2008 Silverado 4.3. Theres only similar spider assembles available. You have to swap your spider injector body with one fuel line port over to the new injectors. New style has 2 ports. it will shoot gas out the other port. Pulled it back apart and put old connector body in it and it runs perfect. There is no info online about this. My names Jeremy Finley and I hope this helps everyone out.

I have a 05 Chevy Silverado 1500 2wd 4.3 v6 vortec. I’m running into the same problem, I have never had a return hose on my injector. But I have this little stopper in the front hole I’m not for sure what it’s called or why it’s there I bought it this way. But now I’m losing pressure I’m assuming because when I turn the key over it will push that out and start spitting out gas. I just don’t know what to buy to fix it

Go on to rock auto. They have two different injectors for the 4.3 one is for a return less system (metal cap in the front where a line will connect) the other is not.

I had this issue on my '07 4.3 as well. I ended up just making a plug that was a really tight fit and then made a piece that sat on top of it that would fit under the mount for the actual fuel supply line beside it that holds it down.
