2007 Colorado turn signal problems( don't need useless advise, I've been diagnosing electrical for 30 years)

Asked by Jeff Feb 02, 2019 at 01:10 PM about the 2007 Chevrolet Colorado Work Truck RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am working on a 2007 Colorado and the turn signals won't work unless you pull back on the turn signal switch to activate the optical horn. I tried to scan the computer and all the lights work with the scanner plugged in. I plugged a memory saver into the DLC and into the power outlet on the dash. Everything work like it should like that. I've checked all the fuses and none are blown. Any GM techs out there ever seen this?

it seems like I'm back feeding something with the memory saver to make everything work but I don't have a wiring diagram to know what.

Hope this helps. I'm not an expert at anything. Just thought the info might help? Have a good day.

I seem to have a ground problem. Ran a wire from battery- to body of truck and everything works. Thanks for the help.
