The term you are looking for is "a flex-fuel vehicle" and I do not see any indication that there are plans for the R8 to be a flex-fuel vehicle. Sorry ... Hi there,
The only fuel I could see Audi using would be diesel since in Europe this is a very popular option. Audi has invested a large amount of money into diesel
engines through their racing programs and I would suspect we will see an R8 diesel soon.

Sorry, my post was unclear. I see them first releasing a gas version of the engine and then possibly releasing a diesel. The current version is a gasoline
based engine.
