My 2008 Taurus transmission throttle light came
on then the car would barely move then when I put
it in reverse to park there was a loud noise. Now
light off and it seems fine, is it something that
worth fixing or should I look into getting rid of it

I had that same problem and it was the transmission I would recommend you rebuilt it instead of a used one because rebuilting it will have brand new pieces inside just did it my car runs awesome and with more speed best decision I made
