Air Conditioner fan won't turn on

Asked by Rick May 01, 2018 at 05:48 PM about the 2008 Mercury Mariner Premier

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just replaced the ignition switch module on my
2008 Mercury Mariner Premier and after installed
this my fan for the A/C wont engage and blow air.
I dont see how the two can be remotely related.
The ignition module was replaced because of
intermittent  non starting.  Hopefully that problem
is solved but won't know right away because of the
problem with stating was intermittent.   Just need
to see if any relation.  Thanks

At the blower motor relay, the voltage circuit to the control side of relay is fuse protected. That fuse circuit goes hot with the key on, so there is a connection. I don't if that's your problem or not? Just showing the connection.
