What causes the drivers side window to stop moving when using the power window switch?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a new master power window switch and installed it and tried it to see if it
would work as I had hoped but it did the same thing as the old one. Any ideas as to
what else it could be?

sounds like the problem is in the mechanical parts, not the electrical. pull the door panel and look for binding.

Same problem here. Replaced the regulator, and the the control module on both the drivers and passenvers side, sometimes one works sometimes just the other. WTF?

I have a 2003 Dakota and window motors are my biggest problems. A mixture of steel cables and plastic tracks is a disaster. If they stop working or seems stuck, change the motor! Don't waste your timechasing wires, plastic is the problem.
