Starting issue good battery and new starter

My 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3l was running fine my
radiator started leaking so i replaced it went to start the
truck and sound like starter locked up so i put a brand new
starter in and still having same problem i turn the key and i
hear it click once like its trying but no luck please help.

You dont say if it overheated it not. So if it did overheat first put a socket and wrench on the harmonic balancer (crankshaft pulley) bolt and turn by hand clockwise to ensure the engine is still turning if the engine turns by hand then you have an electrical connection issue. First make sure your battery has 12.5 volts with a multimeter next make sure battery terminals are clean and corrosion free next look at cables going from the battery to ground and battery to fuse box and starter and make sure the connections at the starter are good. Chances are you have a either loose or corroded connection

No it never over heated when im sitting in the driver seat I'll turn to key will get 1 loud click and lights go out on dash only but will go back on if i turn key off then back it back on new battery. New starter new radiator
