Switched brake light switch 2007 chevrolet silverado

Switched my brake light switch (mounted on the brake)
because my cruise control didn't work. Now I can't shift my
truck out of park. I have a new stability track error. Can
someone help me out.

A guess....first try that I would do is to reset the truck's computer by disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes and then reconnecting it. Might work to get rid of that stability track error.
