New RX8 owner, gas questions

How can you know until you try refueling it? Don't top it off!

I’m afraid that if I turn it off to pump gas, and it happens, I’ll be stuck there. It shouldn’t happen, should it? Also, why shouldn’t I top it off?

RX8, great sports car, but lousy engine. The rotary engine is plagued with issues and you are likely to be very unhappy with that car. Best of luck with it.

That's the exact same issue I've had with mine. I leave it running anytime I go to get gas or go in anywhere. It's worrisome. But ya if I turn it off I have to wait for about 35 40 min till it'll start. It will turn over no problem but just won't fire. I bought an 05 rx 8 like 2 weeks ago and it had 77k miles on it. I've changed spark plugs, wires, new starter, new crankshaft position sensor, which did help a little bit, but it's still happening most of the time. I think on my car it has to do with the air intake but I'm not sure, in so guessing like I've been. I would try the cps sensor first, the crankshaft position sensor, it could solve it problem. After that idk, let me kno if u figure out what it is please. I'll do the same if I find out.
