So what do they say when you ask them what is taking so long? They may be waiting on some parts, who knows.

Your engine job may not be top priority at that shop so the mechanic could be working on other vehicles also. And as my friend Rowefast posted, they could be waiting on parts. Call them and ask.

A month is too long to wait for parts. The actual labor might be a day or so do what the guys say and ask them what is going on and let them know you need the car - squeaky wheel and all that.

All the parts were in at the beginning of April least that's what they told me. I spoke with someone last Wednesday & he said it would be done Friday that never happened it's Tuesday & I don't want to sound like a pest but 2 months & over half the money down is such a long wait

Another question my engine was already out b4 I took it to them so is 3,300 a good price to charge for a rebuilt motor & to put it in & half to wait 2 months to get it back?
