Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 1992 acura integra has 260k miles on it and sometimes
the car cranks over but doesn't start and I noticed when it
does that the s3 gear light comes on and when it does start
sometimes when I'm driving the s3 gear light comes on
again and the car just randomly quits and it takes like 10
minutes until it can start again

Possibly bad trans controller. Could also be the pgmfi relay. You can Check codes. You will have to remove passenger side kick Panel and look for a green or blue connector not attached to anything. Take a jumper wire and jump across plug and then turn switch on and the service engine light will start blinking. It will flash a number of times then pause and flash another number of times and that's one code. Watch until starts repeating and write down and then you can Google the codes
