Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i bought a pack of fuses and replaced it , was working fine (turn signals worked blower was blowing ac). The next day i start the car and start driving. After about 10 min the fuse blows again, I'm trying to keep the repair cost minimal so i don't mind working on it  also my check engine light wont turn off even after i disconnect the battery.

Fuse first...do you have any high drain items plugged into cigarette lighter? Next if that is not that circuit, have you done a visual check for green corrosion or any breaks in the wiring? Any wires shorting out on body or engine? Is your blower motor hard to turn? If blower motor is failing it might be pulling too much current. See if it blows (fuse) without AC on? One of your fans in front hard to turn? One is engine and one is AC. Try them both. Sounds like as soon as fan or maybe compressor goes to turn on it blows. Compressor starting to seize? When is the last time you had AC oil put in your system? 3 oz or so with the age of this car. Make sure it is the right weight for your ford. They should be free to spin (front fans). They are easy to replace also (front fans). Just make sure to disconnect negative battery terminal. CEL...this light is staying on because the issue is so bad it doesn't have to do a drive cycle. (Generally 250 miles). Get this code read and start your diagnostic process. Something unplugged electric or vacuum hose?

My wife and daughter had 2 iPhone chargers plugged into 2 cigarette ports 1 each....and it blew my fuse. I read these iPhones are high drain. I had a 5 amp fuse on that circuit.

Lastly I would get a wiring diagram from bbb industries.com and trace the circuit and also what all is on that circuit.
