I have a 2004 Chevy Tahoe ,when I turn it off the
battery light comes on and the gear indicator stays
lit,does not come on when vehicle is running

Should have the alternator tested, I think its back bleeding threw the diodes in the alternator.

    When turning ignition off radio stays on till it times out when driver door is opened. Also dome lights do not come on when driver door is opened. Dome lights come on when other doors are opened.
