2005 tohoe fires once then dies

got fuel wed. driving home, tohoe started running bad, couple times gave it fuel, it
would fall on its face then kick in and take off. got it home, went out the next wont
start. fires once then dies. every time i try to start it same thing, fires once then dies.
twice it actually fired up as long as i kepted pumping the gas like i caught it just right
and kept pumping the gas at a high rpm but would smoke me out of the garage,
smelled like exhaust, has 63 lbs of fuel... has spark... no codes ...now what

i thought that, then was told possible two sensors one a cam shaft position sensor and a crank shaft position sensor...do these sound possible?

I feel it's wise to get a couple of 5 gallon gas cans, a good siphon and take out all the gas, then throw in a gallon of premium and try it out. If you don't want to try that, put a bottle of Drygas or one of the other products specifically designed to help rid water in gas.

well i took off fuel line from rail, it spit out about 1 oz. of fuel then quit, each time i turned on the key.... fuel pump?

I'd recommend starting at the fuel filter in case it clogged. After that an option would be the fuel pump
