2005 Tahoe Limited edition 4x4.

Asked by Guru86C4G Jan 07, 2020 at 07:00 PM about the 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe LS 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Wife called from work cause battery dead. Used a jumper to start. All gauges
in cluster not working. Power locks and windows not working. Heated seats
not working.
Drove to a local shop that has worked on other stuff and checked fuses.
Alternator is charging. Shut it of to see if would start, and it did, and the
tachometer and speedometer are now working, but nothing else.
Any ideas before I wind up having to dump a bunch of money into it. I know
electrical is a big weak point on this year of Chevy.
I said LS model but not sure. It came with what they called a Regency
package. Lowered, body molding, nice brakes, graphite dash, 20" wheels
and tires, limited badges.

Just went to garage to start and show my son. It was dead again so I used jusp box on it again. Everything is working again out of the blue. I would still like to know what the issue is though. Can't have the wife getting stuck someplace.
