Drive door lock will not unlock

I have a 2005 Explorer Sport Track my driver door will not unlock but would
lock I have to unlock my truck from the passage side can you tell me what
wrong and how do I fix it

When you flip the the door lock can you hear it thump? If not you need a door lock module inside door

Does it lock w the key? If you turn lock is there resistance? I would pull the door panel and see if you have linkages off
