Thanks much. Is this the speed for the standard shift? The automatic is slower - if so how much?

Got a wide variation depending on my source here. 5.3 for the auto according to this site- http://www.modernracer.com/chevroletcorvette.html. And 5.79 according to cars.com- http://www.cars.com/go/crp/research.jsp?makeid=9&logtype=7&modelid=86&acode=USB40CHC062A0&superTrim=&mode=&year=2004&myid=4863&destURL=features.jsp§ion=features&mode=&aff=national. Now also keep in mind that a 2.73 final drive ratio was standard with 3.15 or 3.42 also optional. These would make a significant difference. Given the power to weight ratio of this car, I have to think that those times are with the 2.73. The other two should be quicker.
