Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello, i have a Ford escape 2008 with transmission
problems, the car work good when cold but after
some minutes the transmission will start to fail,
the shifts are wrong, when i stop the car and
acelerate is like if the car is in a 3r gear or
something like that because it is too slow, it
doesn't pass more than 2,000 RPM.

The scanner show me alot of selenoids so i
replaced the complete block but nothing changed
is still the same thing, i replaced the oil but it is still
the same, i flushed the oil many times, it was dirty
with something like gel but from the oil.

I have the codes:
P0740
P0743
P0748
P0753
P0778
P0962
P0966

It looks like electrical problem but i don't have a
diagram for this car and i don't know where to start
cheking the wire. If anyone know something about
this or similar problem any help is appreciated.

Sorry for my bad english is not my main.

A reputable transmission shop can properly diagnose it and give you an estimate for the repairs. But on a 14 year old vehicle it's probably not worth fixing. Jim

Sound like you are rebuilding the transmission. You'd have to find someone really good with electrical and or transmissions to help you. This is a not a DIY job.

i just had my 14 ford escape 1.6 rebuild trans cost me about 5 thousand running good now

The problem was a simple cable, replaced it and the car works like before.. thanks everyone anyway for answer.
