2007 Chevy Cobalt

Asked by GuruKZYVB Dec 01, 2019 at 02:04 PM about the 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt LS Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2007 Chevy Cobalt stopped in its tracks once we
got to our new place(thank goodness) we bought a
new code reader that does not need batteries. It
would not read anything. We took car battery in
and got it charged. Went back, car still did not turn
on engine. Plugged in code reader and it still did
not work. Any guesses or reason why car is not
working?

A blown fuse in the circuit that allows you to read the computer could be why your code reader is not telling you anything. That happened on my Cobalt.
