front passenger window does not work but makes motor sound?

The window went down with the car off. Switch does not bring it up, makes motor sound,
Recently my car battery went dead, I replaced battery a few hours later new battery was
dead again. I unplugged the battery next day engine went on quickly. Checked fuses they
are good.

Either the window motor is bad or the window regulator will not know until the door panel is removed and both are checked.
