You really have some work for your self. The key is to get things dry quick to avoid corrosion and rust. The motor is really the least of the worries. You have to get things dry quick to stop corrosion on all the electrical areas. As far as the engine just get new oil and filter in it and run it. You will need to change ALL the fluids run it and change them again. You have to get the moisture out of all the components on the drivetrain to avoid rust and corrosion internally. I would check around for a shop that has experience doing dry-outs. The first days after drowning your vehicle are critical for long-term success.

I'm not letting her go. This is was the scene, I hope you can advise. She was parked in my drive, too big to garage, on each side of the drive, crepe myrtles, they just kept getting bigger, and I was thinking, stupid planting from MIA. I was right. They got so big , went over the top of my girl, dropped their pods all over her, realized the problem maybe too late, but I'm not stupid, Asking husband, don't you think the myrtles need to go? Long story short. The myrtles landed on my truck, in the back, rotted the gaskits in the draining system, which is complex, water drained in on the outside of the doors, shorted out the whole system, I mean everything, I have read the mail 20 times, I'm electric, this hunk is complicated. I thought I gought it fixed, no, we had6 inches this week, she is still leaking out the back and got through the anterior panel into the radio. I'm seeing a light show. It sucks.im reading the manual again. Help!!!

Your Hummer is a well designed machine.Disconnect the battery.Get a shop wet dry vacumn and start sucking every place u can get the hose in.U can even drill 1/4 holes in the Bottom of the doors to drain the water,u will need to drain all the fluids and replace them, next Google a shop to restore your interior, they have a air system to remove odor / smoke damage, you can also vacumn the engine fuse block and use a electronic cleaner to help dry the submerged areas
