Question about repair

Asked by Toniyk Dec 04, 2015 at 09:46 AM about the 2003 Jaguar X-TYPE 2.5L AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The engine light will come on, the message board will read "cruise control not
available"; then the red light comes on and the board reads "engine
temperature too high'; then the arrows goes from cold to hot.  Yet the car runs
fine. I have had the 02 sensor replaced, engine management sensor

It may be a bad sensor on your thermostat giving false indications
