Alarm sets off on its own after locking the vehicle.

For the past 2 days, my minivan sets off its alarm on its own after 15 min of
locking all the doors. This is quite annoying and a great inconvenience to
neighbors. I can't find answers to it in the OM. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello, I was able to resolve the issue by simply replacing the remote fob button cells (2 x CR 2016). Although there is no mention in the OM or any alerts on the dash, the problem got resolved as soon as I changed the batteries. I hope this helps other Chrysler minivan owners before having to spend serious money at the dealership who might probably do the same thing without telling the customer.
