Check Engine Light Flashing and feel vibration.

2 seperate times 2 weeks apart i was driving and
the check engine light started flashing and the
truck started vibrating throughout the cab. Gauges
all looked normal. It accelerated and decelerated
normally. Each time it happened it was too early
for anywhere with a code reader to help me and by
the time id park it. The engine sounded fine. The
check engine light and vibration problem went
away after the truck was turned off and back on.
Any ideas let me know please.

I have this problem now. But the check engine light has only just started flashing after two weeks of vibration. Initially, i just thought the new snow tires needed balancing. Now oil pressure gauge is at zero. Oil level and engine temperature is fine though. Worried.
